Waterbrook View was a contentious site, partially within the Conservation Area, prominent within the view from Woodstock looking North over the river Glyme. Our proposal was to convert the existing farmhouse into a pair of semi-detached units and build a series of modern houses in the grounds – taking advantage of the views over the river Glyme and of Blenheim’s Woodstock Gate.

The final proposal has an enclosed parking court which has the density you expect in Woodstock, but as you move through each house, they each open out to a generous garden. A challenging scheme due to the number of neighbours and the need to avoid overlooking, but with carefully placed windows we have managed to make the most of the views and garden to create the feeling of privacy and open space.
