A design and build project consisting of a new three storey sixth form teaching block, built using modern construction methods in the form of engineered, laminated timber walls and floor panels and heated via a ground source heat pump. CHP were appointed for the working drawing stage and was the first Eco scheme we worked on. This was a complex project due to the structural timber elements and also the insulation and internal finishes. The project value was £2.2M and was completed in 2008.
