The site is set within a large area of green space with views over the Chiltern Hills, the Towersey Playing Fields are a collection of sports pitches and a children's play area. 

Coleman Hicks was approached by the Towersey Playing Fields Management Committee to replace the existing Pavilion with a new modern purpose-built Pavilion building to benefit the community of Towersey and beyond. The Pavilion will house a new multi-use function room complete with a bar area, kitchen, and toilets as well as a new separate community meeting room.

The building also accommodates changing room facilities for the Home and Away sports teams and covered viewing areas.

The development of the project will lead to "improved playing facilities so that many more sports may be represented and other user groups welcomed to the site."
