Samuelson House is £3.2m bespoke office building for Oxfordshire County Council (OCC). Coleman Hicks Partnership were initially involved with the scheme in 2004 as a speculative venture with Minns estates, then within the masterplan for the development of the area as a commercial hub within Banbury, before OCC decided it was the ideal place for their Northern Hub. The building provides hot desk office space and breakout areas, child protection facilities, secure meeting rooms, and cash desk (with bullet proof glass). A bespoke scheme for OCC achieving BREEAM excellent even though it is an electrically heated premises with comfort cooling.
