Manor Gardens, Chipping Norton

This project was to create four number houses in the ground of the old Chipping Norton Manor House. The partially restored existing manor house is a Grade II listed building with early parts of the original manor house dating back to the 16th Century. The majority of the existing building was in a state of disrepair and the building of the new houses has enabled the remaining unrestored parts of the house to be renovated and make the existing grounds more manageable. The new houses, two four bed detached houses and a pair of three bed semi detached cottages have been sited to create the least amount of disruption to the existing house and grounds and also preserve the majority of views to and from the existing house.
